IT and business consulting services firm achieves strong results across the board and secures two ‘highly commended’ mentions in LGBTGIA+ and Wellbeing categories

CGI (NYSE: GIB) (TSX: GIB.A) is delighted to announce that it has been recognised alongside other prestigious organisations in the Sunday Times Best Places to Work List 2023 , with an 89% average engagement score and 14% above the average industry engagement rating when compared to other organisations in the IT industry.
CGI, which was named alongside only ten other organisations in the ‘Very Big Organisation’ (2,000+) category, also received ‘highly commended’ in the categories of Best Places to Work for Employee Wellbeing and Best Places to Work for LGBTQIA+ Employees.
CGI scored ‘excellent’ across all six workplace engagement categories in the survey, which is independently conducted by WorkL and completed anonymously by employees. The organisation’s position on the list came following analysis of responses to the survey that measured the key areas of reward and recognition, information sharing, empowerment, wellbeing, instilling pride and job satisfaction.
The survey results highlight that CGI’s UK employees, referred to as members, have confidence in their management and feel they work in a well-run organisation. This was demonstrated by an impressive score of 89% within this category compared to just 73% across both the industry and globally. The survey also pointed to a strong diversity, equity and inclusion culture, reflected in a score of 93% in this category. CGI members are encouraged to bring their whole selves to work, supported through numerous member run and developed networks .
The business, which has offices in the UK including Glasgow, Bridgend, Belfast and London, also offers comprehensive health and wellbeing programmes, which helped it to score a tremendous 92% in the wellbeing category. These include Oxygen , CGI’s award winning health and wellbeing program that provides global, regional, and local initiatives to support members' mental and physical health, encouraging them to take steps to improve their general wellbeing; trained Mental Health First Aiders; ergonomic assessments; and preventative solutions to common health risks.
