As an Operator Continuous Markets,you will be the bridge between the customer and the technology. Youareresponsible for contributing to the day-to-day operations of the power market including market coupling and technological development of the market platform and its products and services.
Managedaily and weekend operationalroutines for theContinuouspowermarket in Europe.
Securecontinuousimprovementof business processes to meetcustomerexpectations and to securerobustoperations in complextechenvironment.
Technical support of trading and marketcoupling systems including testing of relevant operational and customerfacingplatforms.
Contribute to thedevelopmentof Nord Pool’s trading platforms and productoffering
Deliver excellentcustomer service during day-to-dayoperations.
Participate in Nord Pool’sdevelopmentprojectsacrossthe European powermarkets.
Be part ofour 24/7 rotationalduty arrangements related to operationsofthe European powermarketincluding weekend and nightshiftsondutyobligations.
Higher education in IT, engineering, energy or economics.
Experience using IT tools such as Grafana for monitoring and support.
Experience working in operations dependent on complex IT infrastructure.
Basic understanding of Azure Cloud Technology, Apache Kafka and MQ is an advantage.
Understanding of software development cycle and Agile methodology.
Interest in technology and how it can improve business processes and customer service.
Knowledge of the power market is an advantage but not a requirement if you have an interest to learn.
Excellent English skills and fluency in at least one Scandinavian language.
Excellent attention to detail and a structured working style.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Curious and technology-oriented mindset.
Service-oriented, with strong relationship-building skills and a collaborative approach.
High level of drive, enthusiasm and commitment.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
