As Bender at NTS Singapore you will be responsible for operating and setting up bending machines to produce high-quality components according to technical drawings, specifications and production requirements. You will ensure machines are correctly set up with the appropriate tools, dies and materials, while inspecting finished products for accuracy and quality. You will work closely with engineering and quality teams to resolve production issues and identify opportunities for process improvement. Maintaining a safe, clean and efficient work environment will be an important part of your role.
Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and verbal instructions to ensure production requirements are metSet up and operate bending machines using the appropriate tools, dies and materialsInspect finished products for accuracy, quality and compliance with specifications, and maintain accurate production records and documentationPerform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment, and report technical or production issues as requiredEnsure compliance with safety regulations, company policies and manufacturing best practices while maintaining good housekeeping practices on machines and throughout the work areaCollaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve production issues and identify opportunities for process improvementSupport the training and mentoring of junior machine operators and contribute to an efficient and productive team environment
High school diploma or equivalent, Professional Certificate, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma or equivalent qualificationMinimum 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environmentAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprintsStrong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills and understanding of manufacturing processesKnowledge of safety standards and manufacturing best practicesPhysically able to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periodsWillingness to work flexible hours or shifts as required, with a responsible and team-oriented approach
