This is a key role within the Enterprise Program Management Office. This role will focus on enterprise transformation to drive strategic cross-functional initiatives within SES. The role involves leading and managing a group of related projects to achieve strategic objectives and benefits, as well as contributing to the execution of complex, top-priority projects across the enterprise. The incumbent is expected to oversee the program scope, schedule, budget, quality, artefacts, program and/or project teams, stake-holders, communication, issues, and risks. The right candidate will have enterprise transformation expe-rience, the ability to navigate and resolve ambiguity, and the communication skills to make complex initia-tives understandable to leadership.
• Lead and manage a group of related projects to achieve strategic objectives and benefits, within the PMO scope.
• Oversee the program scope, schedule, budget, quality, artefacts, program team, stakeholders, com-munication, issues, and risks.
• Report to the Executive Sponsor and to the Executive Steering Committee on the delivery of the Program.
• Provide guidance and support to project managers and oversee the integrated project plan and budget.
• Manage constraints and interdependencies across programs and secure program resources.
• Surface enterprise risks, trade-offs, and decision needs.
• Manage Program communications and stakeholder engagement.
• Manage and resolve program- and project-level risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies and monitor and report on program status, financial performance, and expected benefits.
• Drive repeatable governance and reporting discipline and facilitate updates to Program Roadmaps.
• Assess proposed changes for impacts to scope, schedule, cost, resources, risks, dependencies, and expected benefits.
• Facilitate executive and working-level governance forums, ensuring that decisions, actions, owners, and target dates are clearly documented and followed through.
• Minimum 10 years of applicable professional experience, preferably in program management, trans-formation, or a comparable role within a technology or space-driven company.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex, large-scale, cross-fucntional projects or programs involv-ing multiple business functions, geographies, and senior stakeholders.
• Project Management or Agile certification is preferred; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.
• Proven ability to establish governance, integrate plans across workstreams, manage dependencies, and provide objective exeucutive-level reporting.
• Proficiency with modern project management tools and technologies.
