Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to join our team in Almaty, Kazakhstan. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance Prepare and process month-end and year-end closing entries Develop and maintain financial reports and statements Reconcile bank statements and perform account analyses Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and financial reporting standards Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy Participate in special projects and ad-hoc financial analyses as needed
