Our Team, Your Impact

The mission of the US Pricing and Reimbursement team is to optimize patient access and portfolio value as we bring new medicines to patients in need. We deliver pricing and access strategies for the Teva portfolio of Innovative and Biosimilar products (in-market, pipeline, and launch) and provide critical input into business development assessments. Our long-term pricing plan is updated annually, at a payer segment level, and monitored and optimized quarterly.

The Director, Pricing and Reimbursement is accountable for developing and implementing pricing recommendations, evaluating GTN and profitability, supporting launch readiness and in-market asset optimizations, managing access and reimbursement initiatives, and providing strategic guidance on contracting opportunities with commercial, government, and institutional accounts, for select products in the portfolio. The Director ensures pricing and access decisions align with business objectives and competitive dynamics. The Director leads the assessment of market trends, the payer landscape, the competitive environment, healthcare policy developments, and customer needs to inform pricing and contracting strategies across the portfolio. The Director partners with Value and Access Strategy, Strategic Contracting, Marketing, Government Pricing, Finance, Insights, Forecasting, Public Policy, Global, and Legal on pricing and access initiatives. The position requires strong cross-functional leadership, analytical rigor, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

How You’ll Spend Your Day

• Lead lifecycle pricing and access strategy and analytics for assigned inline, pipeline, launch and business development products

• Drive strategic discussions related to pricing and access options and scenarios

• Partner with insights team to conduct relevant pricing market research and analyze secondary data to understand customer perspectives

• Monitor evolving healthcare legislation, the competitive access landscape, and payer dynamics to adjust strategic approaches

• Annually update the long-term pricing plan based on business objectives and market dynamics

• Deliver scenarios and recommendations for WAC, net price by channel, and access goals to optimize net revenue for launch products

• Monitor portfolio performance and identify opportunities to optimize pricing, access, utilization, and profitability

• Provide input and guidance to the Global organization with US perspective on pricing and reimbursement for pipeline products and business development assessments

• Present recommendations and strategic insights to executive leadership

• Apply for HCPCS codes and support applications in hearings and CMS communications

• Timely reporting of state price transparency requirements

• Ensure compliance with all applicable pricing, contracting, and healthcare regulations

This role is critical in ensuring the organization achieves optimal patient access while balancing financial performance and long-term portfolio growth.

Your Skills and Experience

Any equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.

Education/Certification/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, MPH, PharmD, or related advanced degree preferred

• 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical pricing strategy, contracting analytics, value and access, finance, or forecasting

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Deep understanding of the US healthcare system, government and commercial reimbursement, contracting, and the drivers of pharmaceutical value across stakeholders

• Understanding of federal/state policies and resulting pricing and access implications

• Advanced analytical, financial modeling, and strategic planning capabilities

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills combined with an ability to successfully collaborate in a matrix organization

• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and enable decisions of senior stakeholders


LOCATION

This is a hybrid position (3 days/week onsite) based in the Parsippany, NJ office.


TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Approximately 10% domestic travel within the US.

• Sitting for extended periods of time at workstation or mobile equipment.

Visual Acuity

• Perform activities such as computer work, preparing and analyzing data, and extensive reading.


WORKING ENVIRONMENT

• May be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed on site visits (i.e. safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, etc.).

Salary Range

The annual starting salary for this position is between $176,880 – $221,100 annually. Factors which may affect starting salary within this range and level of role may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
