We are now looking for a Workshop Engineer to join our Wärtsilä Hungary team working for a more sustainable future through.
The preferred location for this position is areas as close as possible to Budaörs, Hungary.
The position is permanent.
In this position, your work will include leading the local team to reach high internal quality level in our workshop. In addition, the quality engineer's responsibilities include reporting steps, the regular preparation of measurement forms and their follow-up by other team members, the availability of improving equipment according to new developments, and continuously checking whether the equipment we have is sufficient and in good working order.
Workshop’s engineer will identify new tools and those required and save them under SAP. By constantly checking the measurements, forms and values in the workshop, he/she will intervene as a developer to the team where it is missing and to reduce the risk of rework. On a typical day, you might start at 08:00 am and finish at 17:00 pm. You will not be working on this alone, even though the work requires a high level of independency, as you will have the support of company experts & team members.
For us to be the best match, we expect you to have knowledge of Engine overhauling, Engineering & measurement tools usage and experience in office programs. For you to succeed in the position, we expect you to have technical and education backgrounds from schools related to logistics and customs, as well as to act as a team player and present self-discipline.
