We’re bridging two worlds, moving towards more sustainable energy sources, while helping to provide the energy, chemicals and resources needed now.
Purpose
Worley is seeking an accomplished Senior Project Director to support the pursuit, development, and delivery of a major nuclear project in Canada.
This role requires a proven EPC/EPCM project leader with experience shaping and delivering complex, multi-billion-dollar capital projects from project definition through engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operational handover. The successful candidate will lead project delivery, governance, commercial management, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and organizational performance to achieve safe, predictable, and successful outcomes.
This is a rare opportunity to shape, secure, and deliver a transformational nuclear project with the potential to become one of Canada's most significant clean energy investments. Working alongside the client, strategic partners, and technical professionals, the successful candidate will help define the project strategy during the pursuit phase and, following award, lead the project through execution and operational handover.
The Opportunity
The Senior Project Director will be accountable for the successful development and delivery of a major nuclear project, providing leadership continuity from project definition and execution planning through engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operational handover.

During the pre-award phase, the successful candidate will support pursuit and capture activities by shaping the winning strategy, execution plan, commercial framework, risk approach, and organizational readiness. Upon project award, the individual will assume full Project Director accountability for project execution and successful handover.
Operating at a senior leadership level, the successful candidate will remain actively engaged in project strategy, execution planning, client management, commercial decision-making, risk management, and delivery performance throughout the project lifecycle.
