As a Driver and Ground Handler, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be part of a small, friendly Transport Services team where people work well together and take pride in doing the job properly. You’ll be driving a mix of vehicles, from cars and minibuses to rigid and articulated LGVs, depending on the task. The job is about getting RAF personnel, vehicles and equipment where they need to be, safely and on time. It’s a well‑structured driving role on a unique RAF site, offering variety in the work and the chance to be part of a dependable and supportive team.
This role is full time and based onsite at RAF Benson, near Oxfordshire. You’ll work an average of 40 hours a week, shifts are - early (06:00 - 15:00), day (08:30 - 17:30), and evening (11:00 - 19:00). Shifts are planned in advance, although some flexibility may occasionally be required to meet operational needs.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain BPSS security clearance EDBS for this role.
