About the role

Role Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for managing EPMS project execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to customer requirements. The role combines project management, customer engagement, financial control, contract management, and technical coordination within electrical power automation and monitoring environments.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution & Delivery

  • Manage EPMS project orders from kickoff to final handover.
  • Develop and monitor project schedules, resources, and milestones.
  • Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and customers.

Financial & Commercial Management

  • Control project costs and budgets.
  • Monitor revenue, invoicing, forecasting, and financial commitments.
  • Ensure project profitability and cash flow management.
  • Manage variation orders and change requests, including quotations and approvals.

Customer & Stakeholder Management

  • Attend customer meetings and provide timely updates.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and requests.
  • Build strong customer relationships through proactive communication.

Progress Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track project status related to:
    • Engineering submissions and approvals
    • Procurement activities
    • Manpower deployment
    • Project schedules
    • Quality issues
  • Prepare regular reports for customers and management.

Site Management

  • Monitor site installation activities.
  • Track manpower utilization and installation progress.
  • Ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements.

Engineering Coordination

  • Support engineering document updates resulting from design changes:
    • Single line diagrams
    • Drawings
    • I/O schedules
    • Bill of Materials (BOM)
    • Technical specifications
    • Operation & Maintenance manuals

Technical Knowledge Development

Develop expertise in Schneider Electric digital power solutions, including:

  • EcoStruxure Power Automation System (EPAS)
  • Power SCADA Operation (PSO)
  • Power Monitoring Expert (PME)
  • Microgrid Solutions
  • Electrical Digital Twin Solutions

What qualifications will make you successful?

Education

  • Degree or Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent.

Experience

  • 8-10 years of experience managing:
    • Electrical SCADA projects
    • Power automation projects
    • Package system projects
    • Transport segment experience ie: Airport, LTA (preferred)

Technical Knowledge

  • Electrical distribution systems
  • Power monitoring systems
  • Industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Electrical SCADA architecture

Commercial & Contract Management

  • Contract law and trade documentation
  • Commercial implications of project contracts
  • Budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow management

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management
  • Project planning and coordination
  • Problem-solving and customer-focused mindset
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership
  • Proactive and self-driven
