Purchasing Support Coordinator

Overview

The role will provide procurement support across both the UK Digital Energy business and North America (NAM), with responsibilities covering supplier management, digital tools, reporting, data analysis and continuous improvement activities.

What will you do?

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • UK Digital Energy Procurement Support
  • Support supplier onboarding and vendor management activities, including SAP MDG vendor requests and Avetta supplier block/unblock activities
  • Provide holiday and absence cover for the creation and raising of Purchase Orders (POs), as required – SAP Logon.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the Digital Energy business, its products, projects and supplier base to effectively support purchasing requirements.
  • Analyse procurement and supplier data to identify trends, opportunities and areas requiring further investigation, and support the preparation of clear and accurate procurement reports.
  • Develop a strong working knowledge of Smartsheet and the digital procurement processes used by the Purchasing team, including workflows and automations.
  • Support the ongoing administration and maintenance of procurement Smartsheets, associated workflows and other digital applications such as Tableau
  • Support the continued digitalisation and improvement of procurement processes, identifying opportunities to simplify activities and reduce manual administration.
  • Maintain appropriate data quality and process governance within digital procurement tools.
  • NAM Procurement Support
  • Coordinate OneTrust Cybersecurity Assessments, including entering requirements, monitoring progress and following up on outstanding assessments.
  • Support vendor documentation set-up
  • Panel Program part set-up, coordinating required information with relevant stakeholders.
  • Support Quarterly Global Procurement Reporting, including gathering, reviewing and analysing procurement information to support accurate and timely reporting.

Who would be successful?

We are looking for someone who is organised, analytical and curious, with an interest in developing their knowledge of procurement, digital tools and the Digital Energy business.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Business Analytics or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Previous experience within procurement, supply chain, or a related corporate business environment would be advantageous.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • A proactive approach with a willingness to learn, investigate issues and take ownership of activities through to completion
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to review and interpret data and communicate key findings clearly.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders across functions and regions
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and competing demands across UK and NAM purchasing requirements.
  • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft 365 packages, with an interest in developing knowledge of digital tools.
  • Previous Smartsheet experience would be beneficial but is not essential; a willingness to learn Smartsheet workflows, automations and process management is important.
  • Knowledge of an ERP system such as SAP is desirable (or Unify project).
  • An interest in continuous improvement and identifying opportunities to make processes more efficient and effective.
  • Willing to work in Cavite on a mid-shift schedule and hybrid set up
